Elizabeth Ann Roberts
ELIZABETH ANN ROBERTS (Amber Hewson)

Born in the small town of Salem, Va., Elizabeth Ann Roberts began acting as a child in local productions. After earning a B.A. in Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech, she launched her professional career touring as Juliet with Shenandoah Shakespeare Express' Romeo & Juliet. Various theatrical productions soon followed up and down the east coast including Buried Child, Our Country's Good, and a stint with Philadelphia's New Paradise Laboratories. Elizabeth Ann booked her first screen role in director Gil Junger's BLACK KNIGHT. Other film roles include the Rich Mullins' biopic RAGAMUFFIN and REMEMBER THE DAZE. Her TV credits include Southland, Criminal Minds, Bones, Heroes, House, Days of Our Lives and Medium.

Rik Swartzwelder began acting in plays and short films while growing up in rural northeastern Ohio. While a college student in central Florida—responding to a dare—Rik created Studio 13, a live sketch comedy/improvisation show that ended up playing to exclusively sold-out audiences for the entire two-and-a-half years he was its primary writer, director, and featured performer. Other stage credits include The Shadow Box, The Foreigner and Love is Contagious. Rik went on to earn his M.F.A. in Motion Picture Production from The Florida State University, where he continued to act in short films and sketch comedy but began to focus more on writing and directing for dramatic narrative film. As an actor, Rik makes his feature film debut in OLD FASHIONED. As a writer/producer/director, his previous work has screened at more than 145 film festivals worldwide and won more than 50 major awards.

DOROTHY SILVER (Aunt Zella)

Award-winning Cleveland-based actress Dorothy Silver has an impressive resume of theatre and film credits. She played lead roles in such plays as Wings, Master Class, Mrs. Warren's Profession, and Death of a Salesman among many others. Films include roles in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS. As a director, Dorothy's credits include American Place Theatre in New York and assignments at Cleveland's regional companies: the Cleveland Playhouse and Great Lakes Theatre Festival. For 21 years, she served as resident director at Cleveland's biracial Karamu Theatre along with her husband (and frequent acting partner) Reuben, who served as artistic director.

Tyler Hollinger is an award-winning actor on both stage and screen who is recognized for his work on four seasons of the hit ABC hidden-camera show What Would You Do? and Taxi Brooklyn (NBC). Hollinger's film credits include BLACK DOG, RED DOG; LEAVES OF THE TREE; and WITCHES OF OZ, among many others. Other TV credits include How to Make It in America, Dateline NBC, All My Children, and many more. Tyler is also the executive producer and co-creator of Trust Me, I'm a Lifeguard. He has received two IRNE awards and a Mustache Award for Best Actor. He resides in New York City where he is the Artistic Director of The New York Actors School.

LeJon Woods began acting in high school with a role in a public service video. After graduating college, he auditioned for a student film at Cleveland State University and launched his career, which has included film, commercial, and theater roles in his hometown of Cleveland. His film credits include HOMEMAKERS, FALLING BACKWARDS, and TOMORROW YOU'RE GONE.

Nini Hadjis earned a B.A. in Theatre in acting and stage managing at SUNY Albany and her M.F.A. in Film at The American University in Washington, D.C. An actor and producer, Nini has worked for the Discovery Channel and was a co-producer of the award-winning short film THE LEAST OF THESE. Moving to Los Angeles, she studied improvisation at Second City and scene study with Jack Hannibal and spent a year studying the Meisner technique before heading to the Midwest to produce and act in OLD FASHIONED. Nini has worked at Lionsgate and Fox Studios in L.A. and with the Lake Placid Film Forum in New York. Now based in New York, Nini acts and is developing TV and film projects.

Anne Marie Nestor is a film, television and stage actress best known for her starring role as Sarah in the feature film TURBINE and as Sharon Donley in the short THE LOUDER THE BETTER. Her television credits include NBC's One Life to Live, IFC's The Onion News Network and FOX's animated series Magical DoReMi. Anne Marie grew up in Princeton, N.J., and attended Vassar College. She trained in New York City with The Barrow Group, Bob Krakower, and The Upright Citizen's Brigade. She resides in Los Angeles where she studied at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.

Joseph Bonamico launched his 30-year acting career on stage in The Second Sheppard's Play. Other theatrical work includes featured roles in Trumpet in the Land, The White Savage, A View From The Bridge, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, The Rainmaker, Assassins, and many more. Joseph's credits include TV movies Bet Your Life and The Light of Day. His TV series include Miami Vice and Unsolved Mysteries. Joseph has acted in commercials with Ben Stein, Bernie Mac, Lebron James, and Shaquille O'Neal. A writer and director as well, he wrote the screenplay and stage versions of The White Savage.

Lindsay Heath is a Los Angeles-based actress active in all things Hollywood—including television, film, commercial, and print work. Among her credits are ad campaigns for Lens Crafters, Ray Ban, and Sony. She appeared in ABC Family's Switched at Birth and Revenge on ABC. Additionally, she is pursuing her own writing projects and acting in short films and student projects.

Maryann Nagel works across the country on stage, film, TV, and radio. She was recently seen in TAKE SHELTER. With a B.A. in theatre from Webster University, Maryann has worked with Adam Arkin, George Clooney, William H. Macy, Hal Holbrook, Sir Lawrence Olivier, and Patricia Clarkson among many others. Her many TV acting credits include Scottish Reign, General Hospital, and One Life to Live. Her film credits include GRADUATION, A CHRISTMAS STORY, and WELCOME TO COLLINWOOD. Her theater roles include Nine, Into the Woods, Most Happy Fella, and more than two years in Menopause the Musical in Cleveland, Toronto, and Portland. Additionally, Maryann directs theater locally and nationally.

RIK SWARTZWELDER (Producer/Director/Writer/Actor)

Rik Swartzwelder is a writer-director-actor and also a producing partner at Skoche Films, LLC, whose independent feature film OLD FASHIONED will be released in theaters on Valentine's Day weekend 2015. In addition to the film, two books inspired by Rik's original screenplay (a novelization as well as a non-fiction companion devotional about modern dating, The Old Fashioned Way: Reclaiming the Lost Art of Romance) are being published by Tyndale House to accompany the film's release. OLD FASHIONED marks Rik's feature film debut as a director, but he has directed numerous award-winning short films and worked on several other projects as a writer and producer. All totaled, his previous films have screened at over 145 film festivals worldwide and garnered over 50 major awards.

He is perhaps best known for his 35mm short THE LEAST OF THESE, which was based on The Agnes Story by Tony Campolo. The film was a bona fide film festival phenomenon globally, and it broke new ground in terms of secular crossover and artistic kudos for a film with a strong faith message. Coming from a strong background as a director and actor in traditional and experimental theater, Rik paid his dues and developed his film craft with wide-ranging production experience on over 50 narrative film and video projects.

In March 2008, Rik was honored by the Heartland Film Festival by being invited to lead the first filmmaking workshop offered ("The Craft of Film Directing") as part of their newly-launched Heartland Truly Moving Pictures Institute. He regularly teaches and speaks on film at universities and film festivals across the country. Rik is a graduate of The Florida State University's Graduate Film Conservatory, where he earned an M.F.A. in Motion Picture Production. He grew up in New Philadelphia, Ohio, and spent many years living in both central Florida and Washington, D.C. He resides in Los Angeles.

NATHAN NAZARIO (Producer)

A filmmaker and marketing strategist with over 20 years' experience in the film and television industry, Nathan Nazario's public relations campaign credits include over 50 films, including six Academy Award winners: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, DEAD MAN WALKING, THE USUAL SUSPECTS, FARGO, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and WHEN WE WERE KINGS. His company, Motion Picture Pro Studios (MPP), is a production and creative services company specializing in the film, television, and entertainment industries. The company's core strengths are creating original solutions through passionate expertise in production, marketing, and public relations. MPP's film division currently has several feature projects in active development. Nathan has served a diverse entertainment client base over the course of his career. As the former Vice President, Film Publicity at mPRm Public Relations, his clients included major studios, television networks, and independent distributors such as Miramax Films, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, USA Network, Syfy, New Line Cinema, Fox Searchlight, Columbia TriStar, Artisan Entertainment, and IMAX among others. Previously, he was Vice President, East Coast Publicity at Gramercy Pictures, the independent art-house studio behind such worldwide successes as FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL.

On the production front, Nathan has produced a variety of Behind-the-Scenes, "Making Of," and DVD special features for feature films. He has written and produced featurettes for such titles as WE OWN THE NIGHT, THE LIFE BEFORE HER EYES, DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN, THE FINAL CUT, and THE COOKOUT. His electronic press kits (EPK) and DVD content credits include indie films such as THE MAIDEN HEIST, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, and AWAKE. In the television arena, Nathan has produced EPK and marketing packages for such hit shows as Battlestar Galactica and miniseries events such as Steven Spielberg presents Taken and Children of Dune.

DAVE DeBORDE (Producer)

Dave DeBorde is an award-winning filmmaker whose experience in the industry is long and varied. DeBorde learned his producing skills on a feature film starring Jim Caviezel (PASSION OF THE CHRIST), working as producer with legendary Hollywood producer, William S. Gilmore (A FEW GOOD MEN). The lessons learned on that feature film put him in a position to earn his stripes in 2001 as one of the producers of the award-winning short film, THE LEAST OF THESE, directed by Rik Swartzwelder. In June of 2012, Dave directed the feature film romantic comedy, MARRIAGE MATERIAL. Always expanding the borders of his professional experience, Dave has been hired as the showrunner for the brand new reality TV show, Soccer Moms of Tampa Bay, which is slated to broadcast regionally on network affiliates during primetime on Saturdays and is in negotiations for international distribution as a result of the world-wide thirst for Soccer themed TV programming. Dave created the popular educational tracks for the Sunscreen Film Festival, which was rated by MovieMaker magazine as one of the world’s top 25 most attractive film festivals as a result of the educational tracks. Those Sunscreen classes, workshops and special events have featured: John Travolta (actor, PULP FICTION), Bill Cobb (actor, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM), Tim Sexton (writer, CHILDREN OF MEN), John Jackson (casting director, SIDEWAYS), Sean Covel (producer, NAPOLEON DYNOMITE), Ralph Winter (producer, WOLVERINE), Dean Batali (writer/producer, That 70’s Show) and several other notable industry celebrities and professionals. When Dave isn’t making films, he is working on the educational side of filmmaking. He recently joined Lipscomb University as department chair for the Cinematic Arts.
